Free on-street parking spaces in the marina area are limited, but there are several options available for visitors:
On-Street Parking (Fruit Market Area) There is 3-hour on-street parking around the Fruit Market, but spaces are limited and tend to fill up quickly. If you’re lucky enough to find a spot, note the 3-hour limit (free after 6pm in some areas). Arriving early gives you the best chance for on-street parking.
l Short-Stay Marina Car Park – A dedicated short-stay car park by the marina offers convenient parking for visits under 3 hours. Tariffs are £1 per hour (up to £3 for 3 hours) during 9am–6pm. It’s open 24/7, but note that 3 hours is the maximum stay in daytime (evenings overnight cost a flat £3).

Fruit Market Multi-Storey Car Park This is partially open to the public on weekdays (Ground & 1st floor) and fully open on weekends. Weekday rates range from £3 (up to 2 hours) to £12 (up to 10 hours), and weekends offer a £3 all-day flat rate. This car park is also open 24/7 and even has EV charging stations. It’s a great option for longer stays or when on-street spots are full.

High Street Car Park Located just north of the marina (on High Street, near the Museums Quarter), this open-air car park is £1 per hour pay-and-display. It’s within easy walking distance of the Fruit Market and marina via a short walk under the Myton Bridge or along Castle Street. Open 24/7 with some EV charging available.

King William House car park in Market Place is another option just across the A63 (Castle Street) from the marina. It’s a multi-storey facility offering short and long-stay options, with plenty of capacity and proximity to Hull Minster and the Old Town. From there, it’s a short walk across the main road to reach the marina area. to reach the marina area. Getting to the Marina
If you’re driving to the marina area, the main access route if approaching from the west is via Liberty Lane. From there, turn right on to High Street, then follow the road down and under Myton Bridge.
